Polish N’Fun 30 Championships
Our partner Jeziorak Yacht Club organized the first Championship in the N Fun 30 yacht class. 5 yachts took part in the event, and they raced on Jeziorak Lake near Iława. The champion was Karol Górski’s crew. Throughout the season, Jeziorak Yacht Club organizes regatta trainings and the regatta itself: Grand Prix N Fun 30 and the Skippers League. In various formulas, participants have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with every position on the yacht. The improvement of skills is supervised by an experienced team of regatta athletes with experience in Olympic classes, match-racing and league sailing. The training takes place on the basis of an original program, after which everyone communicates correctly, consciously performs crew roles and represents a level acceptable for regatta crews.
Bol d’Or regatta
In June, the largest inland regatta in the world took place on Lake Geneva. There were 450 yachts in various classes: catamarans, monotypes, foils – in short, everything that sails fast and takes part in serious competitions on a daily basis. About 100km of the race was attended by: Alain Widmann – the owner of the yacht N Fun 30 „Tchika“, Jochen Vogler – our representative in Switzerland and Marek Stańczyk – the owner of N Fun Yachting. Due to very poor wind conditions, we finished the race, which should not have lasted more than 15 hours, in 30 hours. What is important, we managed to finish within the time limit set for 5 p.m. on Sunday. A lot of much faster yachts failed to reach the finish line in time and only about 180 sailboats managed to do so. During the race, we changed sails all the time – we used a genoa on a fixed bowsprit, a Code0 and a gennaker on a bowsprit, and very rarely a jib. Thanks to this, we made the most of every squall and achieved a decent result.
Sports Classes – Sailing Champions League
Marek Stańczyk’s crew, starting with a wild card in the Sailing Champions League qualifier in Sopot, advanced to the grand final and took 4th place. It was the first sailing with the new crew of Yacht Club Garland Gliwice and the result definitely exceeded the expectations of the competitors and the organizers.
Sports Classes – Laser Class
Marek Stańczyk became the Polish Champion in the Laser Standard class (ILCA7) in the Masters division (over 40 years old).

Karol Górski – the owner of Jeziorak Yacht Club is a multiple Polish Champion and winner of the World Cup regattas. He organizes sports activities on N Fun 30 yachts, presenting professional sailing skills and yachts to sailing enthusiasts.
Marek Stańczyk – owner of N Fun Yachting. One of the world’s best, at a time when match-racing was at the highest level, competing against skippers of the America’s Cup, reaching the quarter-finals of the World Championships in Bermuda (Gold Cup). He continues to actively race in the sailing league and in the Laser class (ILCA7).
