Thanks to its great performance, we can quickly reach our desired destinations anywhere on the lake. There is plenty of space on deck to enjoy the summer and bring friends along. And thanks to the mast raising/lowering system, we can easily pass through the River „Seerhein“, under the bridges of Constance, from one part of the lake to the other („Obersee“ to the „Untersee“).
The cooperation with Marek is exceptional: especially if you want to contribute your own ideas, it’s no problem at all. I’ve never been told “that’s not possible”, only “yes, of course” or “I’ll have to think about it”. It’s incredible fun. We were probably the first boat to have a fixed keel and through-deck rudder with tiller and split backstay. The innovative set-up with electric drive from Oceanvolt and thus the possibility to cook inductively, operate a coffee machine and an electric grill, including Swiss sockets, was also quickly accepted as a challenge.
We were always impressed by the well thought-out details and the practical ideas, such as converting the space for the toilet into a large fridge. All with transparent, open communication, even over long distances. Even in the sixth season, we are still enthusiastic and convinced of the decision for the N’Fun!

With today’s final polish, the boat is now prepared for the season and I can’t wait to finally go on board again! Next week, the crane will be here and the N-Fun will be back in the water. I really want to and need to write you a few lines, although I am usually the opposite of a ‘reviewer’. As an inland sailor and dinghy sailor, I have been sailing for years with a 20er dinghy cruiser – a beautiful boat that also sails very sportily. When I came across the N-Fun 30 by chance three years ago, I would never have imagined the joy and perfection I now feel on the boat.
The shape of the hull, the high-quality fittings, the sailing performance and, for me as a dinghy sailor, one of the key aspects for the N-Fun 30 at the time – the huge cockpit with space that cannot be found anywhere else on keelboats of this size! On the lake, we spend most of our time not below deck but on deck – and that’s precisely why the N-Fun 30 is currently the benchmark. Its perfect sailing performance, from the lightest breeze to the strongest wind, with or without a gennaker, makes it a breathtaking toy for crews who love sailing. And when we enjoy the evening in one of the dreamlike coves of Lake Schwerin after a perfect day of sailing, there is nothing more perfect than this boat. We spend most weekends with our three children on the boat, and the N-Fun 30 is the perfect space miracle for this too. With a total of six large berths, there is more than enough space below deck, and it is very well equipped. It’s just great.
At the time, I wrestled with myself over whether or not to sell my moulded 20er dinghy cruiser. To be on the safe side, I sailed it for two years at the same time as the N-Fun 30, and then sold it without a doubt about the N-Fun 30. I still enjoy sailing on 20 or 30 dinghy cruisers, but I would never want to swap the N-Fun 30 again. Marek, you have achieved a great success with the N-Fun 30, and knowing that you don’t stand still, it will get even better from boat to boat. Thank you for the gain in quality of life and breathtaking days on the water, whether with family or crew! And above all for your more than friendly and enthusiastic sailing.
